I'm here to challenge you to question who you've learned to be.
Life shapes us. So do our choices, our experiences, the beliefs we adopt and the ways we learn to survive.
Some of those responses once served a purpose. Others may no longer reflect how we want to live.
At Heal Through It, I believe in honest reflection, personal responsibility and recognising that our past influences us without having to dictate every choice we make today.
Not everything that happened to us was within our control. What we choose to examine, understand and do moving forward is where our responsibility begins.
Why I Created Heal Through It
I didn't create Heal Through It because I had life figured out.
I created it because I know what it means to face the roughest seas, where every decision carries weight, the consequences can alter the course of your life, and you're left questioning everything you thought you knew about yourself.
I know what it means to survive something and later realise that surviving it doesn't automatically mean you've understood it.
I've experienced the difference between carrying on with life, almost dismissing the baggage it left behind, and actually stopping to examine how I was living, what I was carrying and the happiness I wanted for myself.
I had to confront uncomfortable questions.
I had to sail into unknown waters.
I had to face myself.
Not just what had happened, or the situations I had placed myself in or found myself in.
I had to own my decisions. My beliefs. My consequences. My responsibility.
I had to accept accountability for myself.
The world did not OWE me.
That process wasn't about erasing my past or pretending it had disappeared. It was about recognising that, regardless of what had happened, I still had choices about how I moved forward and the future I wanted to create.
Through lived experience, reflection, spirituality and professional training, I developed a deeper understanding of how learned patterns, emotions and trauma can influence our responses and how we show up in this life.
Heal Through It grew from that understanding.
I wanted to create a space where people could have honest conversations, question familiar explanations and explore their own responses without being told who they should become or how they should feel.
I'm not here to fix anyone.
I'm here to bring my experience, the questions and practical tools that may help someone see their circumstances differently, recognise the choices available to them and decide what they want to do next.
Not to become who someone else thinks they should be.
But to discover what becoming their highest self means to them.
